Glitter Gal was kind enough to provide me with a few of their awesome polishes to review. I have heard so many good things about this brand, I was super excited to try them out!
First thing is the phenomenal holo effect! It is true, these babies pack a punch! This is the first time I have used a strong holo polish that did not have any application issues or a need for an aqua base! I am impressed and totally in love. The downfall is the size, its adorable, but teeny. They are only .3 fl oz, which is smaller than a typical nail polish bottle. However, it is because of the quality of the ingredients used. The price tag is a bit more too, but if you are a lover of holographic polishes, these are worth it. I am happy to say that I have since placed an order for 3 more colors since I tried these out!
I used Orly Calcium Shield for my base, followed up with 2 coats of H706 Blue. I did not use top coat in these photos, the polish is naturally shiny when dry. I later applied Orly Won't Chip topcoat, and the holo was completely unaffected. It didn't disappear or was dulled. AH-MAZING!
Artificial light, no flash.
Thanks again to Glitter Gal for the opportunity to review these fantastic holos!

This looks awesome!
very awesome!
I was at her web site and bought something from her eBay site this weekend. She was donating a % to a charity from both sites. I was twix and tween about which bottles to put into my shopping cart!!! For those looking, she explains on her eBay site that the holos have smaller glitter particles in them vs her sparkles that have larger glitter particles in them. I am wondering and need to write her I guess and ask since you did not mention it here -if when you get the Glitter Girl polishes on, if they feel rough to touch like many glitters are - or if at least the holos have more of the finish Zoya has in her summertime collection called Sunshine where the shimmer has no grit feeling at all to them. Thanks for reviewing this for Glitter Girl. I think she makes some beautiful polishes and am eager to get some. Keeping her shades in stock I know is a problem however. When you see something there you want - grab it - it won't be there the next time you visit often.
Forgot to mention that Glitter Girl often shows her polishes over a black base. So for many of you folks out there that don't think of taking a glitter to put it over another base shade - DO - it brings out all kinds of the other shades in glitters, holos alike. I know there are newbies to blogs/polish land all the time and it takes time to learn and collect some easy tricks to expand your polish collection wear. I KNOW if I had played more with my lovelies, sandwiching and all, I would not have more than 800 bottles that I have today (but that's over 25 yrs and a ton of purges to make room for new).
I love this color. One of the prettiest holos I've seen.
AHHHH! This is such a beautiful holo !
