HOLY MOLY! Today was a crazy day for The Trace Face Philes! Zoya shared my Zoya Feel Giveaway on their Facebook page and I gained a ton of new followers! *waves* HI EVERYONE!! WELCOME!!! Also today, Joy tweeted my ManGlaze Santorum post to Dan Savage, the creator of Spreading Santorum. He re-tweeted it and OMG my stats have BLOWN UP!! Thank you so much Joy and Dan, for sharing my post 'round the Tweet-es-phere! I also announced yet another giveaway, and it seems as though these milestones are moving so fast, it's very likely you will see my 3000 Follower Giveaway soon! Oh my! *waves again*
For now I want to show you one of the fabulous Misa polishes I bought last weekend. It's an oldie, so I am going to apologize in advance that it may be extremely HTF. I am honestly not familiar with Misa, but I knew I found something special. The label on the bottom is completely different from the others I bought. I went to the Misa Facebook page and asked them what year/collection it is from. They responded quickly and said the Tapestry Collection from 2001! Yes, this polish is 11 years old OMG!
Embroidered Emerald is a brick red polish with a green frost shimmer. It is absolutely stunning in the bottle. I am noticing that Misa has some killer shimmers BTW! I can't wait to try more of them! Anyways, it did tend to be a bit sheer on the nail, I ended up applying 3 coats. The brush and application were great, as well as dry time. It does have a strong smell, which is probably because it's an older non 3 Free polish. I did not apply top coat for these photos, and ended up getting a bump on the tip of my middle fingernail. OOPS lol.
Artificial light, no flash.
I wondered what Embroidered Emerald would look like over black, so I broke out the nail wheel and tried it out...
!!OMG GORGEOUS!!
I really love this polish, I think it looks amazing both ways.
What do you think?

Head2Toe Beauty has a great selection of Misa polishes for an affordable price. Unfortunately, I did not see Embroidered Emerald available (unless I am blind, which could be, I am getting old ya know).
