Helloooooo party people!!!!! It's post #2 of my Zoya Fleck Effect Collection combos! This time I have Zoya Codie and Opal for your viewing pleasure!
Zoya describes Codie as, "a blackened espresso brown creme with subtle olive undertones. Great for when you want something dark and dramatic, but not black." I am actually pleasantly surprised by Codie. It was the one color in the Smoke and Mirrors Collection that I was intimidated by. It just seemed so dark and I thought it wouldn't look right on me. Turns out though, Codie is a beautiful dark chocolate brown creme. I really like the color and I think it would look nice on many skin tones. I thought Codie would be a great match for Opal. Codie is naturally shiny, but definitely needs topcoat to look her best. I didn't apply top coat for these photos and you can see Codie does not look smooth.

| ACK! Needs topcoat plz! LOL |
Then I added one coat of Zoya Opal. Zoya describes Opal as, "a sheer green base with reflective Mylar flakies that shift from bright green to blue. A fun flake glitter topcoat that can be layered over any shade to create a fascinating 3D effect." I had great results with Opal. I think the amount of flake that ends up on the nail is just perfect! I absolutely LOVE this combo and REALLY love the color change of these flakies! As Borat would say "WOWEE-WA-WA!!" Very cool Zoya! Thumbs up!! Opal also dries smooth and shiny WOOHOO!

WOW! these two actually look great together!!

I think that dark coffee brown would easily go with any tone of flakies! :D

Such a gorgeous combo! Codie is beautiful.
Omg!! That's such a great combo! I love it!
I even love this one more than the previous! <3
it is a great combo. I did not buy either one of these shades - Opal was too close to the blue one. Cody I feared would just look black unless I was in really good light (plus I was not wearing my already have darker browns - Essie Brown Dress (I think it's called) and OPI Suzie says Da! But I do like how this looks - nice to see someone playing with deeper base shades but not black base only.
Wow! Amazing combo!! Those flakied are gorgeous!!
Love the combo
I would have never thought of this one
thank you
