My friend Aleta from The Nail Junkie recently released her new Summer 2012 Collection. She was kind enough to send me one to review. OF COURSE I got the YELLOW POLISH, named Banana Jelly Shimmer! Thank you Aleta I love it LOL.
Banana Jelly Shimmer is exactly what it sounds like, a yellow jelly with shimmer! (Actually it has silver microglitter not shimmer.) Banana Jelly Shimmer (which I want to abbreviate to save myself the typing, but I realized it would be BJS.... Aleta did you do that on purpose?!) is super squishy and can be used for JELLY SAMMICHES!! Which is what I chose to do with my ring finger! BJS (lol) has a great application, but I needed 3 coats to achieve the look you see here. I chose to Lush Lacquer Dippin Dots for an accent nail. I think these two look really nice together! I added Dippin Dots between coat 2 and 3 of BJS.
Artificial light, no flash.
What do you think?
Banana Jelly Shimmer retails for $10 and can be purchased from The Nail Junkie's online shop HERE. Be sure to follow The Nail Junkie blog HERE and like The Nail Junkie Facebook Page HERE.

What a bright cheery color and I love the accent nail you've created! :)
I could never in a million years pull this off, but wow it looks fantastic on you!! So fun! :D
What a gorgeous color!! Dippin Dots looks terrific with it!
When I first started reading your blog, the first swatch I saw was a yellow. Such a fun color!
I really like this.
I like it a lot! It looks very very pretty!
Amazing! This would look good poolside. : )
Love the review!!!! And no..the bjs wasn't intentional. LOL!
Such a lovely combination! It's gonna sound weird, but - I love how Dippin' Dots look like vegetables under Banana Jelly!
Wow that yellow is insanely bright! Not sure if I could pull off such a bright colour however but it's great for the summer!
Not a huge yellow fan but this is yummy!
I've never been much of a yellow fan, but I love this one! Guess now I've got to go check out her polishes..LOL. I just don't know how you keep your nail's so nice Traci, with all the swatching you do. If it wasn't for seeing these I would probably never buy polish.
I love this colour! Looks great in the accent nail too!
xo
Something about this jelly sandwich reminds me of mango or pineapple salsa...is that weird? Anyways, totally blog stalking right now!
