In my last post I showed you Julep America, now it is time to reveal what I layered it over! This is Zoya Kimber, part of the Surf Collection. Zoya describes Kimber as, "a rich, bright and saturated medium magenta pink with strong gold metallic shimmer, and a foil-like finish. A huge hit of color and a shot of shiny gold metal make this polish look electric." Kimber reminds me of Zoya Kimmy, I wonder if they are related LOL. I had no issues with application, Kimber was just perfect! This is two coats with topcoat.
Artificial light, no flash.

Need more Zoyas. Love this.
I'm a Big fan of Kimber, but it stained my nails pink-orange So bad. It's also almost a dead on dupe for Zoya's Elke. Anyway, I'm not one for most reds or pinks, but I feel like Kimber (and Kimmy and Elke) are a great option for people like me to get our strawberry on.

Am I crazy? That looks very red to me! Still pretty though, red isn't a colour I wear much but I want to start!
Kimmy is one of my fav toe shades since it came out last year. I see photos on line of Kimber and it looks red to me lik Lacquer Licioulove says. But I just am in a med. size metro area on medical this week and ran between tests and prep for tests to a beauty supply that carries some Zoyas in house...love that - love to look at them side to side - and I did pick up Kimber since I never order any of this summer's Zoyas. It's really pinky orange looking to me in bottle on on the little swatch I did. I don't have stuff to change my pedi with me so it will have to wait until I get home to try it out.
