Hello fellow nail polish lovers! I hope you are well. I know I promised you Candy Lacquer Cherry Berry... I apologize for the delay, will try to get that posted tomorrow. In the meantime, here is what I wore over the weekend!
I started out with Zoya Shelby, which I will also show you soon! Then I added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Flipping Out Hard. FOH has a yellow tinted base from the glitter, so it actually turned my Shelby a tad orange. I totally forgot about the bleeding, this was a known issue so I recommend using FOH over similar colors. (BTW... FOH was a LE polish that sold out quickly, it is no longer available, I am sorry.)
Anyhoo... I decided to add some stamping with Mash plate 40 and Wet N Wild Black Creme. I heard WNW Black Creme was a good black to stamp with. Personally I am disappointed. This is my first time using it and I think its too sheer. Now, I got it on sale for like seventy cents, so I am not too upset over it. But I think I need a more opaque black in the future! I finished the look with a coat of Seche Vite.
Artificial light, no flash.
What do you think?
Which black nail polishes do you recommend for stamping?

why have you been hiding t=your stamping skills till now! I absolutely love this!!!! Keep stamping you rock!
/Hugs!!!
My Wet N Wild Black Creme is nowhere near that sheer. Bad batch maybe? But I also like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out or surprisingly E.L.F Black.
i love the stamping it looks like an hypnose clock lol
looove these!
My WNW black started out much more opaque than that...and now that it's old it works like a dream!
I use both Konad Special Polish Black and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out. I've heard Sinful Black on Black is good too, but I haven't tried it. Most of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes work with stamping as well as most metallics and chromes. This list might be of help to you. A bunch of nail stamping fans put together a list of non-Konad polishes that work with stamping. It hasn't been updated in over a year, but it's worth checking out. http://sassestampingstampede.wordpress.com/polish/
Gorgeous!!
I like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out and Liquid Leather by China Glaze. That mani is really funky and I like it :)
Really nice!

I'm wondering, did you do a layer or topcoat over the Flipping Out Hard before you did the stamping?
I say this because I'd also noticed the same sheerness present when I did some stamping with the Wet'n Wild.
I'd like to give a go at putting it straight on top of a smooth polish coat, then putting a topcoat over the stamping.
Bec, yes I added topcoat before stamping. In this case I thought it would look too rough if I didnt.
Thank you for the suggestions! <3
I still love the look of it!
yeah this is AMAZING!
Looks amazing! Love that stamp design.
I usually stamp with Sinful Colors Black on Black. Even sheer, your stamping looks great. What a cool color/pattern combo! pinned!
Love this look!
1 - for an unusual colour combination, this mani turned out great, I love it!
2 - coming from a girl who does a lot of stamping, I can tell you that WnW Black is one that I've used more often but I've noticed an inconsistency with the formula. I've had a couple of bottles be a bit sheer when I first get them, but then they thicken up with use and are totally opaque in one coat. Other times it's a one-coater right away.
3 - although I haven't used them, I have read that Finger Paints black is a one-coater and so is Illamasqua Boosh (although that might be an expensive stamping lacquer).
That glitter is awesome and that marco shot is sooo neat looking!
It is a bit sheer but it gives the pattern a shadow , giving it that 3D kind of effect. LOVE how it turned out!
my ELF black polish is good to stamp with, it's pretty opaque for being a cheapy ;)
I love this! I just can't stop staring at it. Great colors! I use black stamping polish from Konad. I got it off amazon.com so it wasn't that expensive. I love it except it stains my hands! Might try using vaseline to prevent that. :)
looks great, and my advice is just go for it and get Konad black, you won't regret it x
I always use a top coat when I stamp, because I still mess up and with top coat I can wipe it and clean it when I screw up. Lol. I use Sinful Colors Black on Black. I like it the most of the blacks I have tried. I like the sheer look of your black! I think it's a cool effect with the color and glitter showing through!
I absolutely love your blog. Personally I like the orange background and the black looks somewhat brown which I think is better. I know that in some other posts you use Bundle Monster stamping plates. Just wondering where you get those from?
