Candeo Colors Winter 2012 Collection Review and Giveaway!

Hi everyone! Melinda from Candeo Colors sent me her Winter 2012 Collection to review. There are 6 polishes in this collection: Fallen, Rock Steady, Sweet Sierra, Smores, Snowbird, and Fully Loaded. According to the Candeo Colors website, this collection was inspired to bring some fun to the otherwise dreary season here in the Northeast. I can totally attest to that weather! Boring grey days, clouds, cold... sometimes some snow. Each of these polishes is a fun glitter combo which work best layered over a more pigmented shade. I hope you like the combos that I chose.

First let's take a look at Fallen, a white multi-sized glitter in a clear base. It also has fine iridescent glitter and silver holographic micro glitter. I layered it over Barry M Bright Purple. This is one coat with topcoat.

Rock Steady is probably my favorite from this collection. It has a sheer grey base packed full of glitter in blue, gold, purple and silver. I decided to layer it over Zoya Carey, which seems to match the base quite well. This is two coats with topcoat.

Sweet Sierra has a purple tinted, clear base with pink, purple and silver holographic glitter. It is totally girly IMO so I layered it over a pink creme, Zoya Lara. This is two coats with topcoat.

Next is Smores, a clear base with black, white, brown, and silver holographic glitter. This one is probably my second favorite of the collection. I wanted to stick with the "smores" look, so I chose Zoya Jinx as my base polish. This is one coat with topcoat. 

Snowbird has lots of blue glitter with gold holographic glitter in a clear base. I layered it over Barry M Pure Turquoise. This is two coats with topcoat.

Last but not least is Fully Loaded, probably my 3rd favorite. It has black, white, and silver holographic glitter as well as holographic micro glitter. I think this polish is the most versatile from the collection. It would look great layered over just about any color, but I chose Zoya Sooki. This is two coats with topcoat.
