Model's Own Tickled Pink!

Still moving backwards, here is ONE of the TWO base polishes used on my All That Glitters Hole Hearted post! First, Model's Own Tickled Pink!

Tickled Pink is a shimmery rose-bubble gum pink polish. It has so much shimmer that it almost looks like a frost or even a foil! Tickled Pink has a pretty decent formula. I had no issues with application. It is a little on the sheer side, so I had to apply 3 coats. Dry time wasn't bad considering! Here it is without topcoat so you can see the true finish of Tickled Pink!

What do you think of Tickled Pink? LOL

Misa Jasmine!

Ok, so I am doing things a little backwards today. Here is the base polish aka UNDERPANTS of my post yesterday, All That Glitters Rebel Rebel.

Misa Jasmine is just your typical dusty lilac creme. Nothing really special about it besides the name IMO. My dog daughter is named Jasmine, so any polish with her name I must buy LOL. The first coat was on the thin side, but the second coat definitely did the trick! I had no issues with application, it also dries shiny. This is without top coat.

Misa Jasmine is available at Head2Toe Beauty for $3.75.

All That Glitters Rebel Rebel!

Quickie post time! I am having a very busy day today, but I wanted to still get a post up for you.

Again I am being bad and skipping the base polish post...LOL. This is All That Glitters Rebel Rebel over Misa Jasmine, which I will show you soon! Rebel Rebel has a clear purple base with a purple shimmer and loosely packed silver and white glitters in bar and hex shape. The glitter spreads out very nicely, I did need two coats to get a decent amount on the nail though. I really like Rebel Rebel and cannot wait to try the other 3 in this collection!

All That Glitters Rebel Rebel retails for $8 and can be purchased from the All That Glitters Etsy shop.

The Nail Junkie Polish Line!

Today I received a VERY special piece of Nail Mail! My friend Aleta from The Nail Junkie has started her very own polish line! This is so exciting for Aleta because she has put a lot of thought and effort into making her own polishes. Its something she has wanted to do for some time now. With many of us encouraging her to finally take the leap, she has announced her first collection. Aleta was kind enough to send me one of her first sets to review. For now, I will tease you with the haul, but stay tuned for swatches!!

As expected, Aleta blew me away with presentation! I am very impressed with the packaging! I couldn't wait to take pictures of it all to show you! Aleta is choosing to do things a little bit differently than other indie brands. Packaging and overall appearance of the items is very important to her. She wants her polish line to be more than just polish in a bottle. She is going the extra mile to make her products special.

This is what I received, right out of the box! YELLOW (love it!) tissue paper tied with a ribbon, a card and a daisy!

Inside, the items were bubble wrapped but I failed to photograph that part! Who wants to see bubble wrap anyways?! NOT I LOL!

Here are the items out of the bubble wrap. Some of the items are inside of Ziploc bags which is great just in case something would leak or break during transit!

A CLOSER LOOK at the polishes in their bags!! She used Easter basket grass for decoration and extra padding!! What a great idea!! I LOVE IT!!

Here they are out of the bags! If you haven't heard, Aleta's polishes are not only in different bottles than we are used to seeing, but they are MATTE FINISH!! OMG! There are 3 matte polishes, a glitter topper, and a matte topcoat (to help protect the polish and maintain the original finish). The bottles have adorable jewels on top of the lids too!
I LOVE the labels too!

Matte Finish Violet Polish, Matte Finish Daffodil Polish

Matte Finish Rose Polish, Grass Green Glitter Topper

Companions to this collection are a homemade hand scrub, lilac scented oil spray, glitter removal wipes, and rose scented wax melts. These are very special items meant to compliment her line. This is so cool, a brilliant idea that will definitely make her collection stand out!

ANOTHER fantastic idea Aleta had was to add a Certificate of Authenticity to each set. The purchaser will receive one with their order. It will have their name printed as well as their set number. HOW COOL IS THAT?! I think this is a very nice touch, it makes the purchaser feel special! The card also explains the contents of the set as well as includes ingredients and instructions.

I have set #3! :-)

Another look at the set all together!

As you can tell, I am very impressed! I cannot wait to try everything! I think Aleta did a really great job with this, I am so excited for her. I hope you like it too!

For more information on pricing and ordering, head on over to Aleta's blog HERE.

All That Glitters Hole Hearted!

I needed some cheering up! I've had a crappy few days, so I decided to put something awesome on my nails! This is a TRIPLE COMBO too!! I took photos of each polish as I layered them like I always do, but in this case I needed to skip right to the finished product! I even skipped over a few posts that have been waiting to be published! OOPS! I just couldn't help myself! This mani makes me feel good! I will show you the other two polishes used in the near future though!

I started off with Model's Own Tickled Pink, followed by Hits Hefesto which is a holographic clear coat. I then added All That Glitters Hole Hearted. Hole Hearted has a clear base packed full of white heart and black hex glitter. I was surprised, the hearts weren't too difficult to get on the brush! The base is a little on the thick side, so the glitters move around on the nail, but they spread out nicely! I followed up with Glitter Tamer and then Seche Vite.

All That Glitters Hole Hearted is a limited edition polish that should be available soon at the All That Glitters Etsy shop. Keep checking the All That Glitters Facebook page for updates!

Girly Bits Razzle Dazzle!

When I placed my order with Pam she was kind enough to include a couple of minis for me to review! It was so nice of her! Thanks Pam!

I decided to try Razzle Dazzle first. I have heard that a lot of people love it, so I wanted to see what all the hype is about! Razzle Dazzle has a dark pink clear base packed full of magenta colored holographic microglitter. Application was pretty good. I only needed two thick coats for full coverage. Of course my photos do it no justice, Razzle Dazzle is way more shiny and shimmery in person! It is however a hungry glitter. I would recommend using a thicker top coat along with Gelous if possible to keep it looking smooth and shiny. You can see in my photos it is still bumpy looking. I failed to apply Gelous before Seche Vite. Shame on me LOL.

Candeo Colors Jellybean!

WARNING!!!!! Prepare yourself to add another polish to your wishlist...

Melinda from Candeo Colors contacted me asking if I would review a couple of her polishes. I was actually stalking her Etsy shop prior, totally drooling over everything. So I said heck yes!! Since then, I have just about all of her polishes on my wishlist. I also placed two orders and I am chomping at the bit to place another LOL. OMG I am such an addict! Can you tell I love her stuff? Anyways, one of the polishes she sent me to review was Jellybean, a pastel yellow creme packed full of multi-colored glitter. Did Melinda know how much I love yellow?? Seriously, I died when I saw the bottle in person. Then when I put it on my nails I died more. While wearing it I kept dying every time I looked at my nails. Who knew dying could be so invigorating?!

You know what else is so darn awesome about Jellybean?? IT DOESN'T NEED UNDERPANTS!! The Underpants Gnomes won't be visiting Jellybean any time soon! There are no underpants to steal here! I am SO in loooooove with Jellybean. It may be one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE POLISHES EVER!!! OH yes, I said it! Did I also mention it is PERFECT for Easter?? Well now I did! So you better buy this baby and wear it when Peter Cottontail comes to visit! This is two coats of Jellybean followed by a coat of Gelous then Seche Vite.

Artificial light, no flash.
Isn't the label so flippin COOL?!?!

Don't mind the bubbles! It's all Gelous and Seche Vite's fault! LOL

WHAT do you think?!
Someone send me a medic. I think I am dying over my own friggin photos!

Candeo Jellybean retails for $8 and can be purchased from the Candeo Colors Etsy shop.

Candeo Colors will be restocking later this week! In the meantime, be sure to LIKE them on Facebook for updates!

Are you sick of green yet? Hopefully not because I have a fabulous green polish to show you!

Butter London Dosh is an apple green creme with a golden shimmer. It has an amazing formula, very good quality. It applied perfectly! This is three coats because 2 was still a teeny bit too sheer for my liking. I did not add top coat so you could see Dosh in all it's glory!

Artificial light no flash.
