Girly Bits Mother May I!

Hello! Happy Friday! Are you excited for the holiday weekend? You know I am LOL! I have a few Girly Bits polishes to review. Well, I actually HAVE had them...I am slowly chipping away at the "to do pile".

Mother May I has a shimmery lavender base with lots of glitter in shades of blue, purple and red. I love the color combination, its so fun and girly. The formula though, was a little disappointing. It was a tad runny, pooling on the sides of my nails if the coats were too thick. The large red squares also have slight curling. This is three coats with topcoat.

Girly Bits Mother May I retails for $10 and can be purchased from the Girly Bits shop on Big Cartel.

KB Shimmer Quantum Leaf!

Hello! How have you liked my KB Shimmer Fall Collection posts so far? I have one more to review, let's check it out!!

Quantum Leaf has a mustard yellow base with gold and red shimmer and glitter. The color combination totally reminds me of Fall, my favorite time of year. This polish covers well, but I noticed that the larger glitters tend to clump together on the nail. Other than that I really like Quantum Leaf! This is two coats with topcoat.

KB Shimmer No Whine Left!

Hello, happy Monday! I have two more KB Shimmer Fall polishes to show you.

Up next is No Whine Left, a plum shade packed full of blue and purple glitter in various sized hex shapes. It is highly pigmented and does not need to be layered. Application was great, the glitter spread out well. Personally I am not a fan of this color, but the name is pretty cool! This is two coats with topcoat.

KB Shimmer Jack!

Happy Weekend!! Up next from the new KB Shimmer Fall Collection is Jack!

Jack has a brown jelly base packed full of various shaped glitters in orange with shards in black. To me, it is reminiscent of China Glaze Fortune Teller. Its not a dupe, but close enough if you are wanting something similar. Jack needed 3 coats for full coverage due to the sheerness of the base. You could also layer it over black or another dark color. The glitter is mixed well and spread out nicely on the nail. I would recommend using Gelous with a thicker topcoat as I only applied 1 coat of Seche Vite and it was still a bit bumpy.

KB Shimmer I Made a Bleu Bleu!

Happy Friday!!! Up next is KB Shimmer I Made a Bleu Bleu!

IMABB is a medium blue metallic that is super shiny and reflects turquoise, gold and pink/purple shimmer. It is quite unique, I don't have anything else quite like it in my *epic* stash! I have to be honest here, this is one from the Fall Collection that I was least excited about. I am glad I got it to review because trying it totally changed my mind! This is an amazing polish with a great formula. I bet it would work well for stamping too! It is highly pigmented and applied perfectly. There are NO brush strokes, which I love! What you see here is two coats without topcoat.

KB Shimmer Don't Teal Anyone!

Hello again! I have a few of the new KB Shimmer polishes to review. Let's start out with Don't Teal Anyone! Seriously, don't teal them about this! LOL

Don't Teal Anyone has a medium blue jelly base with TONS of glitter in blue, pink and gold. I love the color combo on this one! The glitter is mixed and suspended well. I am impressed with the amount of glitter on the nail without having to shake or dig. Application was fabulous, this is only two coats (with topcoat)!

Million Lacquers Sea Maid!

Hello! Today I have another Million Lacquers to show you!

Check out Sea Maid, a seafoam green shade with bar glitter in blue and gold. There is also a slight glass fleck shimmer, also in blue and gold. Sea Maid is a very pretty polish if you don't mind bar glitter. I had no issues with application, this is two coats with topcoat.

KB Shimmer Glow Stick!

Hello again! Y'all know how much I love yellow, right? If not, where have you been LOL?! *lifts up rock*

Check out KB Shimmer Glow Stick, part of their summer Neon Collection! Glow Stick is a fluorescent yellow with tons of holographic silver glitter in various shapes and sizes. At first I was worried I would have to layer it over white, but that was not the case! This is TWO COATS of Glow Stick, OMG!! Application was great, I got a decent amount of glitter on the nail (even a couple of stars without digging). I added a coat of Seche Vite to smooth it out. Unfortunately my photos did not capture the brightness of the yellow very well. Aw poo! I also totally forgot to take some GLOW IN THE DARK photos before removing it! Wow I am on a roll here haha! Yes, Glow Stick glows in the dark! BONUS WIN!! FAIL on my part though! ;-)

Foil the Lifeguard!

Hello! Today I have some stamp-stampy for you!

For my base polish I used China Glaze I'm with the Lifeguard, part of their Summer Neons Collection of 2012. I really like this color, it reminds me of China Glaze Limonyte, a long time lemming of mine yet to be killed. I'm with the Lifeguard has an OKAY formula, I needed 3 coats for a smooth and even finish. For my stamping polish I used Barry M Lilac Foil with the houndstooth design from Bundle Monster plate 322. I finished the job with a coat of Seche Vite.

The Nail Junkie Fish!

Hows aboutz a second post for today??

My friend Aleta is at it again with her awesome creations. She recently released a new collection inspired by animals. There are five polishes: Flamingo, Tiger, Snake, Fish, and Bee. Normally Aleta sends me the "yellow" but this time I told her to surprise me. I am quite happy with the one I was sent to review. Fish is definitely the prettiest IMO. Yes, I like this one even better than the yellow! Fish has a grey-blue base with a gorgeous gold shimmer, packed full of holographic and blue glitter. The glitter is mixed and suspended wonderfully, I did not need to shake/roll/dig whatsoever! Fish applied great, the glitter lays flat and spreads out well. I only needed two coats for full coverage. These photos are with topcoat.
