Candy Lacquer Candy Corn-Flowers!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Here is a recent mani I wore to celebrate the holiday! I started out with a candy corn sponge design then topped it off with Candy Lacquer Candy Corn-Flowers. I was very pleased with how this turned out. For my base colors, I used OPI Alpine Snow, Zoya Arizona and Zoya Creamy. This is one coat of Candy Corn-Flowers followed by Seche Vite.

Today I want to show you a recent Halloween combo that I wore. I used NARS Lal Mirchi as my base color, a medium orange creme. I applied two coats and it has a flawless application. Then I added a coat of Beam Me Up, a holographic topcoat by Feenix Polish. I followed that with two coats of Candy Lacquer Halloween Candy. Halloween Candy has a clear base with tons of glitter in various shapes, sizes and colors. I really enjoyed wearing this mani!

Purple Professional 44 + Shimmer Leslie!

HOORAY, its Friday!! Here is a combo I wore recently...

I started out with Purple Professional 44 which is a bubble gum pink creme. Formula is decent, I applied two coats. It dries shiny so I skipped topcoat before adding glitter.

Artificial light, no flash.

Next I applied one coat of Shimmer Leslie to the tips. Leslie is a pretty mix of mostly blue glitters. It applies well and is densely packed so it has great coverage. The glitter lays flat, I only needed one coat of Seche Vite.

I am sure by now you have heard the buzz... Nordstrom recently added three exclusive butter LONDON nail lacquers to their shop (Billy No Mates, Stag Do, and Two Fingered Salute). Two Fingered Salute has been super popular! For good reason... IT'S BEAUTIFUL (and unique)!!

Two Fingered Salute (another hilarious name, thanks butter LONDON for the laughs!) is a sage green creme with super fine specks that flash from gold to pink. As usual with the butter LONDON brand, the formula is perfect! I had absolutely no issues with application. One coat covered well but what you see here is two followed by topcoat.

Q-tips Precision Tips Review and Giveaway!

Have you heard about the new product by Q-tips called Precision Tips??

They are similar to regular Q-tips cotton swabs, but these have soft, pointed tips which are perfect for nail polish clean up around the cuticle! I was sent a box to review and I must say that I LOVE them! I was previously using regular Q-tips, but now I will be switching to these! They are 100% cotton, soft and gentle, and have multiple uses: nail polish cleanup (of course!), eye makeup application and blending, electronics and jewelry cleaning, pet care, etc! Q-tips is a trusted brand, and have been around almost 100 years! I highly recommend them.

Candy Lacquer Bad Moon!

HI! Did anyone else snag some goodies from the Candy Lacquer restock yesterday? I did, of course! There are still quite a few available... one of which is this beauty, Bad Moon!

Bad Moon has a clear base with green glitter in various shapes including MOONS! It also has black shards. I layered it over Zoya Lianne, a shimmery orange creme. The combo is a perfect Halloween mani! Even the BF complimented it LOL. Bad Moon applies easily, this is one coat followed by Seche Vite.

Candy Lacquer Sugar Skulls

Hello! Today I have another fabulous Candy Lacquer to show you! This has been a popular one lately and seems to sell out almost immediately after being restocked! 

Sugar Skulls has a clear base and is packed full of pastel glitter in various shapes and sizes. There are even pink hearts, white hearts and YELLOW flowers!! I decided to layer it over MAC Ocean Dip, which is a medium aqua blue creme. Sugar Skulls was easy to apply, the glitter is mixed and suspended well. I did not have to "dig" for the larger pieces. I only applied one coat, and I am happy with the amount of glitter on the nail. I followed up with a coat of Seche Vite.
